Aon is looking for a North America Regional Chief Operating Officer, West Southwest Region As part of an industry-leading team, you will help clients make better decisions by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Aon’s West /Southwest Region Leadership team. This role will report to the NA Chief Operating Officer. Your impact as a North America Regional Chief Operating Officer, West Southwest Region Responsible for delivering optimal results through the successful deployment and the execution of initiatives that support the organizational strategy (Aon United Blueprint) within the region and across all revenue lines. This role works closely with the West/Southwest Region Leaders participating in strategy development and ensuring that the organizational execution supports the goals of the region. The Regional COO will help to enable colleagues to deliver value by optimizing operations, demonstrating scale, allocating resources appropriately and growing PTI. The COO will specifically need to address issues around client satisfaction, margin improvement and growth, while simultaneously instilling parameters which includes performance metrics that drive efficiency, effective delivery and revenue/PTI growth.The West/Southwest Region COO will be measured around:Effective subregion delivery and adherence of Service StandardAdherence to the Delivering Aon United global standardsDelivering business resultsImprove spread/Margin expansion initiatives to drive SPTI growthAssist in completing growth targets in West/Southwest Region of the USExecution of operational efficiency targets and objectivesDrive key change and transformation initiatives identified by senior managementIn partnership with finance partner & business leaders, run controls and drive expense reduction (T&E, OT, Real Estate, etc.)In collaboration with People Partner, assist in the execution of staffing strategy, including the requisition approval process (e.g. capacity analysis, recruitment, training, etc.)Responsible for delivering efficient results through implementation and coordination of all other key ABS operational business initiatives.Leading Risk & ComplianceDeliver technology & operational initiatives to lower risk in the firmLead the remediation to open audits and drive timely closureEnsure Client solutions & interpersonal readiness associated with regulatory complianceEnsure we are supporting Health & Welfare of colleaguesStrengthen business continuity and compliance programsJob Responsibilities:Further implement the client service hub that delivers solutions which help free up resources that can be reallocated to sell new business and further develop client relationshipsSuccessful implementation of the ABS aspect of the Aon Blue Print in the regionAssist in the execution of Information Technologies (IT) and strategic/global platformsConduct regular business and operational reviews and drive improvement planning consistent with corporate objectivesDrive initiatives that improve spread, expand margin and where appropriate, help in the execution of revenue generation. Current examples include:Improve cash management through enhanced execution around timely invoicing and receivable collections.Increase the number of Delivering Aon United (DAU) Client Discovery meetings and ensure operational execution of other DAU programsIn collaboration with Growth Enablement operational leader, work to increase utilization of Aon Connect (CRM) sales pipeline to support accurate forecasting and growthCollaborate with leadership team and use standard methodologies to help respective region and ARS achieve goalsRegional Revenue targetsRegional SPTI targetsRegional Spread/Margin Expansion initiativesAssist Regional Manager in fulfilling all of the talent and engagement initiatives including developing stronger objectives, measurement and success criteriaGoal SettingDrive performance culture that measures and holds geographic leadership accountableLead and optimize the operations within the region for effective and compliant delivery for our clients and shareholders.
