The ideal candidate has a record of accomplishment and robust portfolio of work, has driven consumer campaigns for large domestic/global brands, demonstrates a bias to action that achieves results, and has a deep understanding of storytelling in today’s evolving media and consumer engagement landscape.

Both accounts require fast decision-making, ability to prioritize, and the expectation that you maintain a thorough understanding of the media landscape.

The ideal candidate will have:

Provide strategic counsel, generating fresh, smart ideas to drive impactful consumer brand campaigns

Establish strong and trusted relationships with clients as a trusted advisor and true business partner

Develop and implement comprehensive consumer marketing campaigns across earned media, social/influencer strategy and consumer engagement

Craft thoughtful points of view and recommendations based on a broad understanding of consumer behavior, media relations and client landscapes

Develop client messaging and developing compelling brand narratives to share across channels

Drive growth by identifying new and organic opportunities to sell in services and programs

Directly manage and mentor a collaborative team of smart and enthusiastic communications professionals; ensuring deliverables are met

Deliver a commitment to quality work that exceeds expectations Attributes

Experience leading a team, project managing and working on communications for a Fortune 100 and/or CPG company.

Responsibilities include:

Establishing strong and trusted relationships with clients as senior advisor and true business partner.

Providing project oversight with a client excellence mindset and commitment to quality work that exceeds expectations.

Providing strategic senior leadership and counsel, generating fresh, smart ideas and leading consumer brand campaigns.

Crafting thoughtful points of view and recommendations based on a broad understanding of consumer behavior, media relations and client landscapes.

Developing client messaging and developing compelling brand narratives to share across channels.

Driving growth by identifying opportunities to sell in additional services and programs.

Directly managing and mentoring a collaborative team of smart and enthusiastic communications professionals; ensuring deliverables are met.

Providing account oversight with a client-obsessed mindset and commitment to quality work that exceeds expectations.

Developing written materials, including reports, press releases, presentations, analyses, coverage recaps, and general client correspondence.

Developing/consulting on earned media strategies, media lists, organizational partnerships, editorial calendars, conferences, and awards.

Leading team and client meetings.

Qualifications:

8 years of public relations experience; experience in CPG/consumer brand building a must.

High level consumer media relations strategy and execution experience.

Proven trusted client adviser: an active listener who builds strong partnerships and confidently offers counsel.

Strategic thinker: understands our clients’ business and communications challenges and develops smart, insight-driven strategies.

Adaptable by nature with the ability to thrive under pressure and manage a variety of client contacts and priorities.

Energy and passion to contribute to and help foster a fun, collaborative and thriving agency culture. What the role can offer you:
