Profile

The VP, Business Process and Data Governance is a core member of the Business Strategy & Optimization team of Tommy Hilfiger, The Americas. The overall team acts as an internal consultancy, provides strategic planning support, evaluates new opportunities, drives synergies, streamlines processes, establishes and socializes Data Governance guardrails, and makes actionable recommendations to raise efficiency and drive profitability.

The Business Process and Data Governance lead must enable the TH Americas Business to achieve strategic goals by collaborating with PVH corporate teams to understand the company ecosystem for technology, systems & data, tools, and processes. Further, the lead will identify and drive process improvement areas, and make recommendations for action in collaboration with TH leadership and PVH Corp IT teams.

The selected candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and team leader experience who pro-actively networks across industry boundaries to find best practices that gives the business a competitive edge and drives continuous improvement in Business Process and Data Governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and enforce defined and socialized Master Data standards across the TH Business
  • Ensure data governance is created, implemented and followed during day to day Business activities and all system roll-outs
  • Establishes data rules & integrity for reporting & analytics
  • Maintain quality of data in source systems for successful integration and validation
  • Coordinate with Data Stewards to ensure quality of all Product Master Data
  • Identify, select, and inject industry best practice into the business processes based on new technology solutions provided to the business
  • Own and drive the continuous review of current & future Business Process improvement areas including tools & metrics to record ROI
  • Develop and document business policies and processes throughout the business (connect the dots between functions)
  • Collaborate with Business, IT, and consultant project teams to ensure system and business objectives are understood and met
  • Coordinate with corporate IT teams to prioritize technology needs and investments
  • Support the roll out of new enterprise systems and tools
  •  Enhance PVH systems and process documentation to support TH NA stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, strong facilitator able to drive alignment and standardization of data and process across cross-functional teams to meet future state of corporate or division objectives 
  • Maintain positive relations and lead successful communication
  • Strong people skills that brings / unites teams together around varying business solutions 
  • Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging, fast-paced, ever evolving environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • 10+ years with focus on systems, data, operations, & process
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Business Process knowledge & experience including Process Innovation/Optimization
  • Insights into current and future system needs
  • Strong Data Governance knowledge & experience
  • Outstanding people and relationship skills; ability to interact with different levels of a multi-cultural, international organization, building strong and trusting relationships
  • Flexible, and able to perform and thrive in a highly dynamic work environment, working across all levels
  • High standard of ethics, integrity and confidentiality
  • Passion for the fashion and apparel industry – cross industry applicants welcome
  • Willing to adopt unpopular positions to ensure consistency across all brands
  • Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging environment
