Vice President Lead Web Developer for Firmwide Mobile Applications

Profile

The Workplace Applications Team is looking for a highly motivated technologist who has strong web development, design, and deployment skills to service mobile applications. The ideal candidate has the ability develop web services, front end portals/consoles, and integrate with disparate back end systems. The candidate will also setup, deploy, and maintain the required infrastructure (web/application servers.) Additionally, the candidate should have good communication and experience with standard enterprise level project tracking systems (e.g. Jira.)
The Workplace Applications team is responsible for the development of a generic platform which provides mechanisms for arbitrary applications to secure content and communication on employee owned, personal devices. The team develops the cryptographic libraries, communication libraries, and native platform plug-ins for a variety of mobile platforms. The team simultaneously develops the server-side components which securely routes traffic through the DMZ to the appropriate services.
The team is additionally tasked with building a variety of workplace productivity applications on top of the generic platform. The team is also responsible for writing the server side components which interface with existing systems.
Basic Qualifications
At least 8 years experience developing web applications
Strong HTML understanding
Servlet/JSP development
Tomcat/JBoss/Apache configuration
At least 5 years experience writing specification and design documents
At least 2-3 years developing web based UIs
At least 2-3 years developing web services
At least 2-3 years experience supporting web applications/infrastructures
Preferred Qualifications
HTML 5 familiarity
Web Server administration
Experience developing in Objective C
Experience with various scripting languages Python, Perl, and Bash
